Prescott’s Downtown is charming and holds much history. The historical courthouse is beautiful during all seasons. Every winter the courthouse hosts the Christmas light show, which contributes to Prescott being named Arizona’s Christmas City. The town square is filled with upscale restaurants and shops. During July 4th week, Prescott hosts the World's Oldest Rodeo. Other attractions include the Folk Arts Fair, Heritage Park Zoo, Prescott Fine Arts Association, Frontier Days, and the Sharlot Hall Museum.
Active living is easy in Prescott. Kayaking, hiking, biking, camping, horse riding, or riding ATVs can be done at the multiple area Lakes and in the National Forest. Golfing is also easily done at many Prescott signature golf courses.
